"Stories from Disney's Animation Renaissance" with Author Michael Lyons
The Carolwood Society is proud to once again partner with the Central Florida Railway Historical Society to host Author and 20-year Walt Disney World Cast Member Michael Lyons for a special presentation during the 2024 UnMeeting. Michael’s presentation entitled, “Stories from Disney’s Animation Renaissance” will take attendees on a trip back in time to a fantastic era of Disney animation, the story of the Walt Disney Studio's comeback with their hit animated films in the 1990’s.
This presentation will take place at the Central Florida Railroad Museum at 101 S. Boyd Street in Winter Garden, Florida from 7pm – 9pm on Friday September 27th, 2024. Tickets are $15 per person and proceeds benefit the Central Florida Railway Historical Society.
Michael Lyons will have copies of his two books, “Drawn to Greatness: Disney’s Animation Renaissance” and “Magic Moments: Stories, Lessons & Memories from a Twenty-Year Career at Walt Disney World” on-hand for purchase and signing after his presentation.
